Surpassed, Again!
Once again, Europe is surpassing the US when it comes to technological advances. A few years ago (as it always seems to happen) Wi-Fi was the latest thing to come around. Even Starbucks has free Wi-FI so we assumed we were paving the way. Well we've been outdone - again. This week, it was reported that Europe now has 44,000 HotSpots available. Compared to the 17,500 (recorded this past July) here in the US. The UK is actually leading the charts with 9,801 access points - that's pretty high given the size of the UK vs. the size of the entire United States.
