So it looks like yet another major collaboration is going to be announced today. Early reports indicate that TiVo is now going to offer its services in formats that can be played on the Apple iPod and the Sony PSP. Now before all the DRM fanatics go insane with the idea that TV shows are going to go the way of downloadable music, TiVo claims that all programs will have a "digital" watermark that can be traced back to the original source. Though I do wonder, how long will it take for those to be hacked into and altered? My guess, not so very long.
