The lock is an administrator lock that only the administrator has access to control certain coponents, services and permissions. Anyone connected to the network will see the icon and will not gain control access.

To lock something in a file of your computer that you don't want anyone else on you network to see. You share files on the network but what if you have something in the file you don't want to share. You have to move it to another file or not share the file. This would make it so you can share the file but not all the information in the file.

I think is a new feature that will compleatly make windows firewall go out of play, it will increase the security level by letting you decide wich software from wich pc on the network (Ip number) coming from wich port has permission to do certain thing or not.

I believe this could be a private VPN option that would allow us to establish a secure VPN with our "home" network when we are on the road.
